If you wish to request the deletion of your personal data from our platform, you’re in the right place. We’re committed to ensuring your request is handled in accordance with applicable Canadian (PIPEDA) and U.S. (CCPA, CPRA) privacy laws, as well as Apple and Google’s developer policies.

What Data Can Be Deleted

You may request deletion of the following personal data associated with your Hold This account:

Your account profile (name, email, contact info)
Transaction history and package records (subject to legal retention requirements)
Payment details (if stored)
Communications and preferences

Before You Proceed

Deleting your data means:

Your Hold This account will be deactivated
You will no longer be able to use Hold This services
Transaction and package records required by law or for fraud prevention may be retained as permitted by Canadian and U.S. law.
Data retained for legal, tax, or regulatory reasons (e.g., under Canada’s Income Tax Act, or the U.S. Patriot Act) will not be deleted immediately but will be purged per applicable data retention laws.
If you have active packages in transit or pending pickups, we may temporarily delay deletion until the transaction is completed for security and fraud prevention.
